Acerca de Santosh Ghante:
Santosh Ghante, es un joven y prometedor armonista y compositor de reconocimiento internacional. Es el discípulo del distinguido maestro armonista Appasaheb Jalgaonkar. Recibió la beca del ministerio de cultura del gobierno de la Índia en el 2001.
Santosh ha actuado en varias conferencias de música en Mauricio, Abudabi, Dubai, Sudáfrica, Singapur, Madagascar, Baharin, Alemania, Suiza Museo Rietberg y Vocimento, Ámsterdam, Holanda, Italia, etc. Ha recibido el premio International Harmonium Player del gobierno de South África y el mismo premio de manos del Primer Ministro de Mauricio, el Sr. Ram Gulam, y muchos más en la India.
Ha acompañado a grandes artistas como Kathaksamrat, Pt. Birju Maharaj, Ust. Akram Khan, pinta. Ajay Pohankar, pinta. Jasraj, Ust Liyakat Ali Khan, Ust Aslam Hussain Khan, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Pt. Manik Munde, pinta. Sridhar Parthsarthy, pinta. Anand Bhate, pinta. Jayteertha Mevundi, pinta. Rajendra Kandalgonkar, pinta. Ram Deshpande, pinta. Kaivalyakumar Gurav, Nirali Kartik, Vidhya Vox Pt. Mukesh Jadhav, etc.
Ha establecido ‘SANVADINI KALA MANCH’ bajo el cual se realizan esfuerzos para popularizar la música clásica india, especialmente en las zonas rurales. Muchos programas también se llevan a cabo durante el año. Ha publicado un libro sobre su Gurú Pt. Appasaheb Jalgaonkar llamado ‘Soorsakha’ que fue inaugurado por manos de Pt. Jasraj en Savai. Es una parte importante de Tarang Fusion Group.
Santosh Ghante is a young and promising Internationally renowned solo harmonium performer and music composer. He is the disciple of internationally renowned harmonium maestro late Pt. Appasaheb Jalgaonkar. He has received the Scholarship of Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 2001.
Santosh has performed in various music conferences at Mauritius, Abudabi, Dubai, South Africa, Singapore, Madagascar, Baharin, Germany, Switzerland Rietberg Museum and Vocimento, Amsterdam, Holand, Italy etc. He has received the International Harmonium Player award from the government of South Africa and the same award at the hands of Prime Minister of Mauritius Mr. Ram Gulam and many more in India.

He has established ‘SANVADINI KALA MANCH’ under which efforts are taken to popularize Indian classical music especially in the rural areas. Many programmes are also held during the year. He has published a book on his Guru Pt.Appasaheb Jalgaonkar named ‘Soorsakha’ which was inaugurated by hands of Pt. Jasraj at Savai.He is an important part of Tarang Fusion Group.
